How one parent's search for answers became a mission to help others.
How It All Started
Growing Beyond Barriers was born from my family's own experience navigating the gaps in our healthcare system. When my son needed specialized care, we ran into walls at every turn: waitlists measured in months, costs that weren't covered by insurance, and providers who were simply out of reach financially.
I found myself asking one question: How was I going to help my son?
As I searched for answers, I quickly realized how limited our treatment options were. Eventually, I discovered alternative programs that weren't covered by insurance but offered something we had been desperately searching for: real, meaningful, and lasting progress.
I knew I couldn't be the only parent searching for answers, struggling to find the right care, and wondering how to afford it. That realization inspired me to found Growing Beyond Barriers.
I wanted to create something that would give other families the opportunities I had fought so hard to find. My vision is to break down financial barriers, make promising therapies and specialized care more accessible, and help families achieve real, life-changing results.
